Agusta Wade, a retired cleaner from the Chicago Stamping Plant and a
member of the UAW Local 588 passed away. Visitation was held on Friday,
April 4, 2003 at the W. W. Holt Funeral Home in Harvey, IL. Funeral services
will be held on Saturday, April 5 at 11:00 a.m. at the Portland Street Church of
God, 286 E. 16th St. Chicago Heights, IL.
Walker, Clarence

Clarence Walker, retired from the Stamping Plant and a member of UAW
Local 588 passed away. Visitation will be Saturday, March 1, 11:00 a.m. -
12:00 p.m. at the Holt Funeral Home, 175 W. 159th Street, Harvey, IL. Funeral
services will be held at the funeral home following the visitation from 12:00
p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Wall, Teddy L.

Teddy L. Wall, retired Tool and Die maker from the Chicago Stamping Plant
and a member of UAW Local 588, passed away, Sunday, June 19, 2005. He
was a resident of Hebron, IN, formerly living in Oblong, IL. He was 65.

Mr. Wall is survived by his wife of 47 years, Goldie; five children, Tami Wall of
Valparaiso; Martha (Jerry) Furst of Rensselaer, IN; Melinda (Michael)
Guerrero of Crown Point; Chris (Debra) Wall of Fine Grove, KY; Tim
(Stephanie) Wall of Magnolia, KY; 15 grandchildren, Jessica, Cassandra,
Anastasia, Victoria, Bradley, Samantha, Ashley, Abbey, Amy, Ryan, Elijah,
Isabelle, Alexis, Lindsey and Hailey; 4 great grandchildren, Jordan, Sebastian,
Cade and Lillia; four brothers, Bill (Vicki) Wall of MO; Richard (Toni) Wall of
Demotte; Terry (Serena) Wall of MI, and Randy (Loretta) Wall of Demotte; two
sisters, Loretta (Stanley) Watts of KY, and Della (Kenny) Trujillo of Griffith;
many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family. He was preceded in death
by his parents, Fred and Florence Wall.

Visitation will be at the Geisen Funeral Home, 624 N. Main St., Hebron, IN, on
Wednesday, June 22 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the
funeral home on Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 11 a.m. Pastor Brenda Ludwig
will officiate. Services will conclude at the funeral home with cremation to
follow.

Mr. Wall retired from Ford Motor Company in Chicago Heights with 44 years of
service. He was an avid sports fan of the local high schools and enjoyed
watching Nascar races. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the
Diabetes Foundation or the Hebron Little League.
Ward, Jimmie
Warne, Jerry

Jerry Warne, a retired engineer for Ford Stamping Plant and a resident of
Momence, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004. Mr. Warne was employed by Ford
Motor Company for 39 years.

He was born in Morocco, IN, the son of Delos and Alice Purdy Warne. His
father is deceased. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; his son, Kirby Warne
of Las Cruces, N.M.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Shelley and Brian
Chilsen of Milwaukee, WI, Angie and Ryan Sherwood of Momence, Lindsay
and Jacob Wren of Kankakee; his mother; four sisters and brothers-in-law,
Joyce and Bill Wagner of Lowell, IN, Judy and Bill Armstrong of Lake Village,
IN, Janet and Tom Allen of New Castle, IN, Jo Alice and Barney Belt of
Morocco, IN; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Gene Warne of Hanna, IN,
Jack and Cleota Warne of Rensselear, IN, Bobby and Shari Warner of
Portage, IN and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Warne attended the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Momence.
Services were held on Friday, March 27, at the Cotter Funeral Home in
Momence. Burial was in the Momence Cemetery.
Washington, James

James Washington, age 74, a retired salvage repairman at the Chicago
Stamping Plant and a member of UAW Local 588, died July 3, 2006.

Wates, Marshall

Marshall Wates, age 72, of Hobart, IN, passed away on Thursday, December
30, 2004 in Battlecreek, MI. Mr. Wates was retired from the Chicago Stamping
Plant and was a member of UAW Local 588. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Mr. Wates was born in Alabama to William and Mary Wates who preceded him
in death. He was also preceded in death by two brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two daughters, Marsha (Darrel) Parker of
Hobart, IN, and Rhonda Wates of Battlecreek, MI; seven step children,
Charles Paul of Lake Station, IN, Cheryl Moline of North Judson, IN, Rick Paul
of North Judson, IN, Robin (Peter) Gottschlich of Valparaiso, IN, Dennis
McCollum of Hobart, IN, April Keene of Valparaiso, IN; many grandchildren,
great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

Funeral arrangements were provided by Rees Funeral Home, Hobart, IN with
visitation on Tuesday, January 4 and funeral services, officiated by Pastor
David Mueller, on Wednesday. Burial was at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso,

Watson, Bruce

Bruce E, Watson, Machine Repair Supervisor, passed away Tuesday, June
21, 2005. He was 78. Visitation was held on Friday June 24, 2005 at the
Bonine Funeral Home, 104 E. Lake Shore Dr., Culver, IN (574) 842-2082.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; three daughters, Sabrina (Scott Donovan)
Schultz of Homewood, IL, Valerie (Joe) Manby of Sugarland, TX, and Monica
(Frank) West of Homewood, IL; three grandchildren; and two brothers, Hugh
(Dorothy) Watson, Paducah, KY, and Jimmy (Geneva) Watson of Texas. He
was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Elva (Riles) Watson.

Services were held at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Culver, IN, on
Saturday, June 25 with the Rev. Ron Lewallen officiating. Burial was in Culver
Masonic Cemetery where veteran's rites were conducted at the graveside.

Watts, Frank S.

Frank S. Watts, a retired accountant of Ford Motor Company at the Chicago
Stamping Plant, passed away September 9, 2005 at his home in Chicago
Heights. He was 77 years old.

Mr. Watts is survived by his daughters, Kathlyn Zagone, Sandra (Don)
Martinez, Sharon Dwyer and Debra (Ron Jr.) Quattrocchi; his companion,
Josephine Strong; his grandchildren, Andrea, John, Daniel, and Alyssa
Zagone, Don, Joe, and Chris Martinez, and Courtney and Angela Quattrocchi;
and his great granddaughter, Alayna Hernadez. He is also survived by his
brother Edwin (Margaret Ann) Watts. He was preceded in death by his wife
Ardella, his parents George and Veronica Watts, and his brother George.

Frank was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of First Presbyterian Church,
Chicago Heights and a charter member of St. Mark United Church of Christ,
Chicago Heights.

Visitation will be Monday, September 12th from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Hirsch
West End Chapel, 1340 Otto Blvd., Chicago Heights. The Funeral Service will

Percy Lee Wells, a retired Blanker Operator at the Chicago Stamping Plant
and a member of UAW Local 588, passed away last weekend.

Weybright, Milton

Milton Weybright, 83, Momence, died Thursday, May 24, 2007 at Riverside
Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. Mr. Weybright was a retired carpenter at the
Chicago Stamping Plant and a member of UAW Local 588.

He was born in Chicago, the son of Russell and Aspasia Weybright. He
married his wife, Beverly in 1952 in Chicago.

He was a veteran of World War II where he drove LST landing craft at the Iwo
Jima and Okinawa invasions. He was a member of the Momence Anchor club.

He enjoyed boating and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters and one son-in-law, Sandy Wojcik and
Kathy and Don Brunnick, all of Momence; two sons and daughters-in-law,
Andrew and Diana Weybright, Kankakee; Jack and Chris Weybright,
Momence; one sister-in-law, Faye Weybright, Tinley Park; six grandchildren
and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one son, Rusty
Weybright and one son-in-law Stan Wojcik.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, May 29 at the Cotter Funeral Home in
Momence. Military Rites by the Momence Honor Guard concluded the service.

Wheeler, David S.

David S. Wheeler, a retired Inspector of Tooling and Layout at the Chicago
Stamping Plant and a member of UAW Local 588, passed away Wednesday,
May 19, 2004. He was 63.

Mr. Wheeler, a former resident of Merrillville, IN was living in Eddyville, KY at
the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Kay; his mother, Marcella
Wheeler, Williston, ND; his daughter, Michelle (Rick) Kritlow, Valparaiso, IN;
his son, Michael J. (Amy) Wheeler, Hobart, IN; three stepsons, Michael
DiPaola, Hobart, IN, Stephen DiPaola, Louisville, KY, and Matthew DiPaola,
Crown Point, IN; and nine grand-children, Stephen, Renee, Marcus, Damon,
Amanda, Chris, Carly, Vincent and Joseph. He is also survived by his sister
Kathy Brogger, Williston, ND; and his brothers, Arthur Wheeler and Billy
Wheeler, both of Arlington, WA, and Dick Wheeler, Littleton, CO. He was
preceded in death by his father Victor J. Wheeler.

Funeral arrangements were provided by the Goodwin Funeral Home

21 and 22. Father Carl McCarthy officiated.

Mr. Wheeler was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam, a member of St. Stephen's
Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Gold Wing Road Riders
Associations of Paducah Chapter B, and Princeton Chapter J in Sebring, FL.

Whitaker, Tom R.

Tom R. Whitaker, 65, of Crete, IL, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2006.
Mr. Whitaker was a retired Industrial Truck Repairman at the Chicago
Stamping Plant and a member of UAW Local 588. He retired after 35 years of
service to the company.

Mr. Whitaker is survived by his wife, Sharon; his daughter Kelly (Jeff) Clark of
Crete; his son, Tim (Julie) Whitaker of Bloomington, IL; and four grandsons.

He is also survived by two sisters, Mary Lou (Jim) Mullins of Tullahoma, TN
and Diane (Mike) Hatch of Rio Frio, TX; and his brother Danny (Kathy)
Whitaker of Crete.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles "Pappy" Whitaker, retired
Salvage Repairman at Chicago Stamping Plant; his mother, Della, and his
brother, Jim.

Visitation was at Smits Funeral Home - Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045
Chicago Road, Steger, IL on Friday, April 21. Interment at Evergreen Hill
Cemetery, Steger, IL.
White, Robert "Bob"

Robert "Bob" White, a 31-year Inspector retired from the Stamping Plant and
a member of UAW Local 588, passed away Monday, March 3, 2003. Mr. White
was a resident of rural Peotone.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5 at the
Fedde-Helfich Chapel in Peotone with Masonic Rites at 7:30 p.m. Services will
be held at the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 p.m.; Rev. Dave Marsette will
officiate. Burial will be in Skyline Memorial Park, Monee.

Mr. White was born in Mokena on September 19, 1932 the son of Ival and
Ruth Brown White. Surviving are his wife, Donna, of Peotone, who he married
in July of 1955; two sons and one daughter-in-law, James R. White of
Kankakee, Gary and Eydie White of Peotone; one daughter and son-in-law,
Linda and Tim Henshaw of Peotone; nine grandchildren; and one sister and
brother-in-law, Patricia and Gene Newton of Mokena.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Clifford and
Richard White.

He was a member of the Faith Community Church of Peotone, a veteran of
the U.S. Navy, a member of the Shriners, and a 26 year member of the
Peotone Masonic Lodge 636.

Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital or to the donors
choice.

Gilbert Will, a retired Automation Tender at the Chicago Stamping Plant and a
member of UAW Local 588, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 in
Wisconsin. Funeral services will be held in northern Wisconsin on Tuesday,
May 23, 2005.
Wilson, James

James "Jim" Wilson, a retired utility man from the Chicago Stamping Plant and
a member of UAW Local 588 passed away Monday, February 21, 2005. He
was 66.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife Sandy, three sons and daugthers-in-law,
Brian and Kathleen Wilson of Crown Point, IN, Mark and Tanya Wilson of Lake
Villa, IN, and Greg and Aileen Wilson of Elgin, IL; and seven grandchildren. He
is also survived by his mother, Alberta Wilson of Manteno, and his brother
and sister-in-law Keith and Patricia Wilson of Momence, IL. He was preceded
in death by his father, Woodrow and his brother, Robert.

Funeral arrangements were provided by Smits Funeral Homes - Steger
Memorial Chapel. Interment was at Skyline Memorial Park, Monee.

Mr. Wilson was hired by Ford Motor Company at the Chicago Stamping Plant
in 1956 and retired after 39 years. He was also a member of American Legion
Post #131 in Chicago Heights.
Wisowaty, Albert S.

Albert S. Wisowaty of Munster, IN, retired industrial engineer at the Stamping
Plant passed away Sunday, May 19, 2002. He was 75.

Mr. Wisowaty served Calumet City for 38 years as Alderman of the 2nd , 3rd
and 4th Wards and most recently as City Treasurer from 1981-1999. He was
a Certified Illinois Municipal Treasurer. He was former President and board
member of District 215 Board of Education, a member of Kiwanis Club and
Club Amsac, a Thornton Township Senior Citizen member, former Little
League manager, a Democratic Precinct Captain and 3rd Degree Member of
Coronata Council #3806 Knights of Columbus. A World War II veteran,
Wisowaty was a member of Ehinger Brothers Post #8141 V.F.W., and a past
Commander and member of Calumet Memorial Post #330 American Legion

He is survived by his sons Joseph and John and daughter Marybeth
Donahue, his grandchildren Kevin and Julianne Donahue, his brother Alfred
(Ann), his brother-in-law Ben (Marge) Buros, and his sisters-in-law Phyllis
(Norbert) Lesczynski, Mary Brazina, Helen (Jim) Maginot and Marge (Steve)
Ratkay. He was preceded in death by his wife Ann Marie, his son Tommy, and
his parents Stanley and Jennie Wisowaty.

Services were held at the Hennessy-Nowak Funeral Home in Calumet City with
Mass at St. Victor Church.
Wittchen, Vince

Vince Wittchen from Knox, IN, passed away in November, 2002. He had
retired in 1994 from the Chicago Stamping Plant. Mr. Wittchen's death was
reported in the UAW Local 588 Reporter, January-February edition.
Wlazik, Eugene "Gene"

Eugene "Gene" Wlazik, age 74, a retired Engineer at the Chicago Stamping
Plant, who was living in Valrico, FL, passed away Friday, March 28, 2003. He
is survived by his wife; Annette; a son, Ronald (Ann Marie) Wlazik of FL; two
daughters, Pamela (John) Zajac of WA, and Gina (Chris) Rabassi of NC; two
step-sons, David (Roilene) Learn and James (Alberta) Learn both of IL; a
step-daughter, Victoria Learn of IN; a sister, Grace (Frank) Perek of IL; nine
grandchildren and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his son
Larry (Mary Pat) Wlazik of OR, and his parents, John and Agnes Wlazik.

Mr. Wlazik was a U.S. Army Veteran and was accorded graveside military
rights with an Army Chaplain at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens in Brandon, FL on
Friday, April 4, 2003.
Wray, Danny

Danny Wray, of Crown Point, IN, formerly of Kentucky and Chicago, passed
away Monday, April 19, 2004. He was 63. Mr. Wray was a member of UAW
Local 588 and a retired inspector with 32 years of service at Ford Motor
Stamping Plant.

He is survived by his son Danny (Lori) Wray; his two daughters Jeanette
(Neal) Shultz and Danette (Michael) Seamon, all of Crown Point; and five
grandchildren: Amanda, Jessica and Kayla Shultz and Brittney and Zachary
Seamon. He is also survived by his brothers, Bob (Sylvia) Wray of St. John,
Larry (Debbie) Wray of Alabama, Mike (Eyvonne) Wray of DeMotte and Jackie
(Druscilla) Wray of South Carolina; and many loving nieces and nephews and
great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rosely, his parents Virgil Lee Wray and
Nettie Witt, his step-father Brady Witt and his brother Roger Wray.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, April 22, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. at
the Burns Funeral Home, (corner 101st and Broadway) Crown Point Chapel
with Rev. John Starr officiating. Interment will be at the Salem Cemetery.

Visitation was on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family
wished donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
Wray, Jimmie M.

Jimmie M. "Mike" Wray, DeMotte, IN, passed away at St. Anthony Medical
Center on Monday, May 22, 2006. He was 61. He was a retired Salvage
Repairman at the Chicago Stamping Plant and member of UAW Local 588.

Mr. Wray is survived by his wife, Eyvonne; his son, Jimmie Wray of Merrillville,
IN; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Chase and Seth Wray; his brothers, Bobby
Charles (Sylvia) Wray of St. John, IN, Jackie Dean (Drucilla) Wray and Larry
Ronnie (Debbie) Wray both of Greer, SC, Randall Lee (Beth) Witt and Terry
(Carol) Witt both of LeRoy, IN; and his sister, Sandra Witt of Rensselaer. He
was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Lee and Nettie Wray; his
step-father, Brady Witt; his sister, Juanita Wray; and two brothers, Roger Lee
Wray and Joe (Pat) Wray.

Mr. Wray was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War where he
served as a helicopter repairman.

Visitation will be held at the Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown
Point, IN on Wednesday, May 24 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. A funeral service will
be held at the funeral home the next day at 1 p.m. Deacon Z. Wayne Lee will
officiate. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery.
