Partozoti, James A.

James A. Partozoti, Roselawn, IN, a retired Utility Man from the Chicago
Stamping Plant and a member of UAW Local 588 known by his friends and
fellow employees as "Hogman", passed away on Friday, October 21, 2005 in
Texas. He was 81 and had retired in 1986. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, he was
a member of the American Legion and VFW in Knox, IN.

He is survived by five daughters, Elizabeth Partozoti, Lavern (Leigh) Smith,
four grandchildren; and seven brothers and sisters. He was preceded in
death by his parents and one brother.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. until the
time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Frazier Funeral Home, Todd
Chapel, 621 Halleck, DeMotte, IN 46310 with burial to follow in the DeMotte
Cemetery.
Peacock, Charles W.

Charles W. Peacock, a Retired Automation Tender and member of UAW Local
588, passed away recently. He was living in Georgia at the time of his death.

Funeral arrangements were provided by the Miles Funeral Home in Baxley,
GA. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 31, 2003 with funeral services the
following day. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date for family
and friends in the Illinois area.
Peck, Louis
Pelham, Phillip E.

Phillip E. Pelham, age 79, of Lowell, IN, passed away Monday, October 23,
2006. He retired from Ford Motor Company, Chicago Stamping Plant and was
a member of UAW Local 588.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; three sons, Jerry R. (Marlene) Pelham of
Oak Harbor, WA, David Pelham of Hobart, IN and Jim Pelham of Lowell; six
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Wilbur (Elsie) Pelham of
Sumner, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by
his son, George, in 1976.

Funeral services were held Thursday, October 26, 2006 at the Sheets
Funeral Home, 604 E. Commercial Ave., Lowell with visitation at the funeral
home on Wednesday. Pastor Kerry Robinson officiated. Burial followed at
Orchard Grove Cemetery in Lowell.

Mr. Pelham was a member of the Lowell Nazarene Church and the former
owner of Pelham Su Lawn in Lowell, IN.
Pemberton, Howard

Howard Pemberton, former UAW Local 588 officer and 35-year Ford Motor
employee at the Chicago Stamping Plant, passed away suddenly, Tuesday,
June 29, 2004 at Provena St. Mary's Hospital, Kankakee. Mr. Pemberton was
a retired head tool crib attendant at the stamping plant, and had served the
local as a trustee and Vice President. He was 77.

Surviving are his wife, the former Frances Stetson, of Bourbonnais; one
daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and John Gould of Sun Prairie, WI; four
stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, Jerry and Lisa Wheeler of New Lenox,
Martin and Nancy Wheeler of Herscher, Ron and Rose Wheeler of St. Anne,
Roger and Denise Wheeler of Crete; one stepdaughter and stepson-in-law,
Sandra and Bud French of Bourbonnais; two sisters, Floye Deen Braden of
Raleigh, Lucille Burnett of McLeansboro; one brother, Glenn Pemberton of
Eldorado; one grandson, John H. Gould of Sun Prairie, Wis.; 14
stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by his first wife, Wanda; his father and mother, Auda V. and Stella Deen
Pemberton; one sister and three brothers-in-law, Fern and James Johnson,
Johnny Braden and Ray Burnett.

Mr. Pemberton retired in 1991 from the Stamping Plant. He was a 32nd
Degree Mason and a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. He
enjoyed fishing, woodwork art and camping.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Schreffler Funeral Homes with
visitation being held at the Bourbonnais Chapel on Friday, July 2. Services
were held at the Wesley United Methodist Church on Saturday. Burial was in
the Wesley Cemetery, Deselm.
Pement, Donald
Peterson Jr., Ernest

Ernest "Ernie" F. Peterson, Jr., a retired automotive surpervisor at Ford Motor
Company, died May 4, 2002 at his home in Beecher.

He was born June 4, 1926, in Chicago. An Army veteran of WW II, he was a
member and past commander of Amvet Post 67. He was a member of St.
John's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife Helen (Scheiwe); his son, Bob of Beecher; two
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and his brother, John Peterson of
Beecher.

He was preceded in death by his son Tom in 1999 and his parents Ernest and
Agnes Peterson, Sr.
Peterson, Loren
Phillips, James F.

James F. Phillips, 79, of Chicago Heights, IL, died November 12, 2002. Mr.
Phillips was an Electrician Leader in the North High Bay and the Blankers at
the Stamping Plant retiring in 1982.

His wife of 58 years, Wilma; five nephews, and two nieces survive him. His
parents, a brother and a sister preceded him in death.

Mr. Phillips was a member of UAW Local 588, a WWII Army Air Force Veteran,
a member of the Chicago Heights Moose Lodge, the Steger VFW, the
Chicago Heights Wednesday Seniors Group, the Park Forest American
Legion, and the Calumet Masonic Lodge #716.

Services were held November 14 at the Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home in
Chicago Heights. He was interred at Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery in
Monee, IL.
Plock, Ray

Ramon 'Ray' Plock, past president and bargaining committee chairman of
UAW Local 588 and a retired tool and die maker at the Chicago Stamping
Plant passed away mid September, 2006. Mr. Plock was also a district
committeeman. He was elected to District Committeeperson in 1977 and
served until 1983 when he was elected as the President and Bargaining
Chairman. In 1985, he became an International Representative until he retired
in 2002.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 22, 2006 in Carleton, MI.
Pope, John F.

John F. Pope, retired Automation Millwright, passed away in Ely, Minnesota in
August, 2002. He was an employee of the Chicago Stamping Plant for 36
years and a member of UAW Local 588. He retired in 1992.
Porter, John P.

John P. Porter, Sauk Village, IL Age 66, passed away Thursday, December
22, 2005. He was a retired Salvage Repairman at the Chicago Stamping Plant
and a member of UAW Local 588.

Mr. Porter is survived by his sons, Eric (Kim) Porter, and Scott (Martina)
Porter; and three half brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his
wife, Bonnie, and his parents Earl and Geneva Porter.

Mr. Porter retired from the Stamping Plant after 32 years of service.
Chapel Lawn Funeral Home in Schererville, IN handled the arrangements with

Visitation on December 26, 2005 and a funeral service on December 27.
Pastor Larry Berger officiated. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Potts, Ivan
Pranskunas, Anthony C.

Anthony "Tony" "Prank" C. Pranskunas, retired Chief Inspector at the Chicago
Stamping Plant for 33 years, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2006. He was
89.

Mr. Pranskunas is survived by his wife, Adele; his two daughters, Joan (Chet)
Romaniak and Betty (Steve) Glibkowski; his son, Chuck (Diane) Prank; his
grandchildren, Brian, Beth, Peter, Tony, Katie, Allison, Brett and Brianne; and
his brother, Andrew (Lynn) Kneita.

Mr. Pranskunas was a WWII veteran who once played semi-pro football. He
loved to fish and golf.

Funeral services were provided by the McKenzie Funeral Home, 15618 S.
Cicero Ave., Oak Forest on March 13. Mass was held at St. Damian Church
with interment in St. Casimir Cemetery.
