Kaericher, Gene D.

Gene D. Kaericher, age 70 of Steger, IL a retired Automation Tender at the
Chicago Stamping Plant and a member of UAW Local 588, passed away
Saturday, May 8, 2004.

Mr. Kaericher is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, Gene (Marianne) of
Ashkum, IL and Gerald of Steger; one daughter, Vicky (Robert) Pigman of
Steger; and ten grandchildren. Gene was preceded in death by his daughter,
Debra Rae Kaericher, and one grandchild. Funeral arrangements were made
by the Smits Funeral Home, Steger Memorial Chapel and held on Tuesday,
May 11. Interment was at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.

Mr. Kaericher was a Korean War Army Veteran.
Keeling, Nolan
Kelley, Edward

Edward Kelley, retired automation pipe-fitter at the Chicago Stamping Plant
and a member of UAW Local 588, passed away late July, 2004 in Mahomet,
IL. He was 79. Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial service will be held
at a later date.
Kelly Sr., Robert

Robert E. Kelly, Sr., 87, of Kankakee, died Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at the
Kankakee Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services were private. Burial
was in All Saints Cemetery, Bourbonnais. Arrangements were by the
Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais.

Mr. Kelly was a retired employee of the Ford Motor Company in Chicago
Heights and a member of UAW Local 588.

A native Iowian, he was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Pacquer Kelly. He is
survived by his wife, Helen; two daughters and one son-in-law, Margaret
Regas Gallagher of Bourbonnais, Laura and Abe Barlaj of Chicago; one
stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Sandra and Walt Casteel of Tennessee;
one sister, Margaret Breed of Centralia; nine grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren. Two sons, Robert Jr. and Thomas Kelly; and two
brothers, Thomas and William Kelly, are deceased.

Mr. Kelly served with the U.S. Army during World War II in the South Pacific.
He was a member of the Kankakee VFW Post 2857. He was also a member of
St. Patrick Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting and Rving.
Kent, Francis "Gene"

Francis "Gene" Kent, Retired Fork Lift Operator at the Stamping Plant and a
member of UAW Local 588, passed away Monday, July 14, 2003. He was 68
and a resident of Crete, IL.

Mr. Kent is survived by his wife, Sue; three sons, William (Shelley); Edward
and Richard (Amy), his granddaughter, Amanda; his sisters, Laviel (Bruno)
Papineau and Reba (Charlie) Priest; and many nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Eva and Robert Carson.

Funeral Services were provided by Crete Funeral Home on Friday, July 18.
Entombment was in Washington Memory Gardens Cemetery, Homewood, IL.

Koenigsman Sr., Ralph J.

Ralph J. Koenigsman Sr., a Welder Repairman Leader at the Ford Stamping
Plant and a member of UAW Local 588 passed away at his home in University
Park, IL on Wednesday, January 1, 2003. He was 69 and had been scheduled
to retire on February 1.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene; one son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and
Karen Koenigsman Jr. of Wheaton; three grandchildren; three sisters and
brothers-in-law, Mildred and Orville Carrier of Steger, Florence and August
Bock of Oak Lawn and Elaine and Stanley Kowalski of Chicago Heights.
One brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Lucille Koenigsman; and one sister
and brother-in-law, Marie and James Matlock, are deceased.

Mr. Koenigsman was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
Services were held at the Steger Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 3. A
funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Liborius Catholic Church, Steger. Burial
was at Calvary Cemetery, Steger.
Kollar, George A.

George A. Kollar, 60, a retired Tool and Die Maker at the Chicago Stamping
Plant and a member of UAW Local 588, passed away December 25, 2006.
Memorial services were held Friday, December 29th, 2006, at the Kuiper
Funeral Home, Highland, IN.

Mr. Kollar, was a resident of Griffith, IN. He was retired from Ford Motor Co.
with 36 years of service. He had appreciation for nature, music and his family
and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; his daughters, Natalie Kollar and Gina
Koller, his sons and daughter-in-law, George, Jr. and Catina Kollar; and John
Kollar; six grandchildren, Anthony, Lauren, Ryan, Alexandra, Marley, and
Benjamin; one sister, Marilyn Rosinko; one nephew, Rich; three nieces,
Karen, Kim, and Carol; and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by his parents.

Memorial services were held on Friday, December 29th, 2006, at the Kuiper
Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd., Highland, IN.
Korosec, Zvonko

Zvonko Korosec, 68, of Indiana, formerly of Chicago Heights, died Aug. 21. He
was retired from Ford Stamping Plant in Chicago Heights where he was a
Material Handler. Arrangements were by Hirsch Funeral Homes, 708

Kowalczyk, Ted

Ted Kowalczyk, a retired Tool and Die Machinist at the Chicago Stamping
Plant and a UAW Local 588 member, passed away Friday, May 14, 2004 in
Lady Lakes, FL.
Krause Jr., Frank R.

Frank R. Krause, Jr., 80, passed away the first week of September, 2004. He
was retired from the Chicago Stamping Plant and a member of UAW Local
588.

Mr. Krause was a resident of Steger, and served in the U.S. Navy as a
Machinist Mate Third Class from 1943-1946. He worked at the Stamping Plant
from 1965-1986.

Services were held at the Steger Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, September 7.
Burial was in Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery, Monee, IL.
Kreiner, Edward Earl

Edward Earl Kreiner, a Retired Welder Repairman at the Chicago Stamping
Plant and a member of UAW Local 588, passed away June 18, 2004 in
Forsyth, MO. He was 70.

Mr. Kreiner is survived by his wife Patricia; one son, Dennis Kreiner of
Phoenix, AZ; one daughter, Susan (William) Schill of Amelia, OH; two sisters,
Dolores Musser of Stevens, PA and Diane (Mike) Pinkerton of Ephrata, PA,
and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his
parents Bessie and Edward Kreiner.

Mr. Kreiner retired after 30 years with Ford Motor Company. He was a
Veteran of the Korean War and was buried with full military honors at the
Veterans Cemetery in Springfield.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 24, at the Riverview Bible
Baptist Church in Forsyth, MO.
Kwiatkowski, Chester J. "Chet"

Chester J. Kwiatkowski, 58, of Theodosha, MO, formerly of Lake Village, IN,
passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2002. He retired from the Ford
Stamping Plant in 1996.

Mr. Kwiatkowski is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joyce; one son, Chester
(Susan) Kwiatkowski III of Lake Village; one daughter Patricia Kwiatkowski of
Morocco, IN; One brother, Leo (Linda) Kwiatkowski; two sisters, Bernice
(Chuck) Kornkowski of Kankakee, IL, and Cecile (Gilbert) Christenson of Lake
Village; one granddaughter, Emily Kwiatkowski; and many neices and
nephews.

Mr. Kwiatkowski was a former member of the St. Augusta Catholic Church,
Lake Village, and a member of the American Legion Post 146, Morocco.

Visitation was Monday, October 7, at the Sheets Funeral Home, Lowell, IN.
Father John Cummings officiated at services at St. Augusta Catholic Church,
Lake Village. Burial was in the Lake Village Cemetery, Lake Village.
